Universal Joint ?
Anyone know what the number is for the Drive Shaft U-joints? Morons at Bennet Auto swear that there is only one number, but I knew there were 2, sure enough a 270 for the half shafts, but the drive shaft joints are smaller.

The driveshaft U-joints (if an automatic) in the 1981 Corvettes use a 1310 series u-joint. The half shaft u-joints (if an automatic) in the same car use a 1330 series u-joint. The best u-joints available for the driveshaft are the Spicer brand #SPL 22-1X. The Brute Force brand #1-0153BF would be my second choice. The Precision brand "Super Strength" that you talk about for the driveshaft would be #280.
