I was cleaning out my garage and found some parts : (1) four speed transmission that I do not know what it fits. The casting number on the side of the case is 3851325. (2) Pair of big block heads casting numbers 3931068 K158,K118.

Can anyone tell me what these items fit?

Thanks

the heads are from a 69' 396 or 427 built November 15th 1968. They were used in most of the Chevy line.
I need more numbers to decifer the M-21 or M-22 Muncie.

Trans is a 1964 or 1965 muncie. Date code should be stamped in it. It is a weak, 7/8 countershaft trans. Good for a #s matching guy though. Heads are 1969 Camaro 396 350 HP. Hard to find heads, should bring good money on E-Bay.

Thanks for the information. I looked at the transmission again and have a few more numbers. The tail housing has a cast number of 3857584. The collar around the input shaft has a cast number of 3831326. On the rear of the case, lever side there is a number that has been stamped 138 471 the first three numbers are evenly spaced and the last three numbers are a much larger and unevenly spaced. On the other side of the case there is a number stamped P 121. The input shaft has 10 splines. See if this helps any.
Thanks
