I have not tired the 123 yet, but am considering it for a winter project.

I guess the good news is that my body man will be painting my new bumpers for it and he will have to match them as well and I guess I can use some of that paint if there is some left over.

If I can get someone to match the paint that's half the battle.
vetteman1978 can you send me your proceedure ?
To answer the question about custom paint, it means there is no paint code for it, that's all.
I read and followed someones article on touching up chips. You make sure the chip is completly clean. Next you very carefully sand just the edged the of the chip to smooth them back into the paint.
Then you get a toothpick and put a very small amount of paint in the chip wait a day or so and put some more in until it is almost even with original paint then you wait a week put on the clearcoat and wet sand. I did this but it would have turned out better if I had the correct color

I just finsihed up repairing and patching the lower section of the front bumper area under the grilles. You know; the area by the black spoiler. Lots of cracks and breaks not to mention bad mounting holes and fasteners. I patched with glass filler and sanded . I also took care of about a dozen or so chips while I was down there. Then I cleaned her up and shot with primer/sealer (spray can). Then a couple coats of my custom-mixed red (not mille miglia like I thought) and she looks pretty good. With a little practice you can blend it in.
By no means am I a professional and I would not do this type of work where the area is easily visible. But for door jambs, and undersides of bumpers as well as behind trim this works very well.
Time to sand, patch and paint the lower front: 4-5 hours
Cost of paint, patch and sandpaper: about $30 or so.
Quality on the 1 to 10 scale: give it a six
Now I will clean up the three grilles and the license bracket and install a new spoiler.......
