zz4 with hot cam timing
just wondering if anyone knows what the timing should be set at. I have the zz4 with the hot cam & the roller rockers.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

I didn't have much luck with the stock distributor curve in mine .... I've heard its been changed since I purchased mine back in 1999.
Here's my setup, I used Accels adjutable vacuum advance module and springs. Used the medium spring setup (one silver, one blue), and set the initial timing ~14 degrees with total at 35 degrees. I reduced the vacuum timing by 4 degrees over max (not sure what that is off the top of my head). Runs ALOT better than GM's 10 degree initial w/ 32 total setup that came in the HEI.
