Question about L71 accesories
I have been told that the L71 435 HP 427 was not available with AC or PS because of the high RPM the motor turned. Is this a true statement? Every thing I look up for the 435 HP does not list AC or PS with the engine suffix.

Correct on the AC...not available with L71.
However, PS, PB and even a rare CY automatic (255) were available with '69 L71. I've had several arguments about these options, but I know without any doubt that they were available with '69 L71.
I'm not as well versed in '68, but I do know the automatic was not available with L71 in '68, '69 only.
So far as I know the engine code would only reflect AC, not PS, PB. There are a few engines codes for the automatic, including LX.
