How in the heck should this be mounted in that hole? Am I missing a bracket or what..... Should the switch be mounted so the nut can be seen from the outside, or should it only be the pin sticking out?
Please help a stupid Dane
There is a flat metal plate inside the jamb, it's fallen down. The piece has three holes, two for mounting screws and one for the interupt switch. Take off the panel in the wheel well, it's hard but you can get two fingers in there or a set of long needle nose plyers to get it in place to start screws. Where are the wires?

Thanks, well have already removede the panel in the wheel well. But there is no bracket..... So have to make it myself
The wires are still intact. Trying to put my car back to orignal shape, and that can be pretty hard when you dont have any clue how it was put together in 72.
But the switch should be mounted from the outside? So the nut on the switch should be visible from the outside.....
Any ide how to make a hole to the alarm cylinder key, without busting the paint around the hool?
Thanks
One of the parts guys will have the plate cheap, yea you can see the nut, if not careful when tightning the screws, the glass will crack and if not careful on the door adjustment, the door closing will punch the whole thing through...Sorry, no idea on the alarm....
