Restore Manual
I do not know of any actual book or instructions for rebuilding the rolling chassis. Several of these types of books will require you to have specialized tools that are impossible to aquire and to use companies or products that are long extinct. Restoration shops don't like to give out their sources or techniques which is understandable since they are in business.
All the information you need is right here on the forum. All you have to do is ask. You will get specific answers for specific questions and experience a variety of different tastes and ideas.
Get a good digital camara and document everything. As you take a part off tag it, box it, and set it aside for cleaning. Gary(GTR1999) and myself can take care of any rebuilding you need done along with sourcing parts. A prime example would be buying an offset trailing arm from a company with a questionable reputation when you should buy it from VanSteel who is the actual manufacturer.
Have you decided what type of restoration you want to do? NCRS correct, rebuild with minor upgrades, or all out performance? Where are you located? Shipping can be a big factor.

Thanks for the quick reply, I purchased this vehicle as a all original, match No. 1973 covette with 29,300. It's in great shape but is from MI and the frames shows a bit rust. I have put 500 miles on it in the last two weeks and it drives great. I'm trying to find out if it will difficult to remove the body to restore the frame, and what is the the going price. If the number match I think it will be best to put it back to it original condition with the low miles.
I would get a few of the books that are out there.
AIM (1973 Assembly Instruction Manual)
1973 Corvette Judging Manual
Corvette Restoration Guide 68-82
These should give you original numbers and paint colors to do it right.
Keep those Great White Sharks rolling.
