Are line locks compatible with hydraboost brake systems or is the brake pressure to great?
Not too much pressure. Consider a caliper at full bite the same as a line lock. When your pedal goes to full in, each piston is at full extension where it clamps on the rotor. If the seals can take the pressure, a line lock would be able to as well.
I have a line lock and hydroboost and I have no problems. The line lock is designed to handle the braking pressures.
One thing about line locks. If they are accidently activated while driving down the road and you need to suddenly slam on the brakes they do NOT stop fluid flow in one direction so you can not accidently loose you front brakes.

But you can do nice smokey burnouts for fun or to soften the tires before a run?
Do you mean the smoke in your avatar? Nice one...or did your throttle just stick a little....
That was actually a spin out at an autoX. I spun the car out and before I knew it I was backwards so I just stuck my foot in it and it produced a nice smoke show.
In my blue '77, right after a fresh GM crate motor went in, I accidentally did a 450 degree doughnut in the middle of a 4-way intersection on a major road at lunch time. VERY interesting reactions...lots of hoots and waves and a few honks. One guy yelled something obscene but I did have a fun time with it.
Have you bled the system correctly? A standard car bleed won't work on many Vettes and even repeated attempts can leave air in the lines.
The system was properly bled. The linelock worked fine for a couple of months. Then all of a sudden it wouldn't hold. I thought maybe the higher pressure blew a seal or something.

oh, and here I was thinking your car just needed new rings.......

only kidding!
Don't joke...I see a car like that in traffic every. I see them all day, that need a new head gasket, or new rings, or fouled plug. People just don't pay attention to their cars.

so do I..........and they are usually directly in front of ME when there is too much traffic to driver around them so I'm the one that gets choked on their smoke and fumes

The worst are the ones I see EVERY day in traffic at the same times. Means that person knows but doesn't care. I always want to exit the car at a light and tell him that there are a lot of problems with driving liek that. He hurts the environment, my nose, lungs, eyes, and general appearance of an otherwise nice looking city.
I can't understand why the local police never pull them over to serve an inspection process violation...
