My advice would be drive the car untill you know what you want. More cam than you need will just blow off low end.
Why not get some good heads and 1.6 RRs for now. You will get more power, cooler running. When you know more about your driving habits, you can buy a cam to match. JMHO

Damn, I didn't think a cam that mild would need anywhere near 9.75:1 compression. Looks like I've got some homework to do.

The reason these GM performance cams need a higher SCR to perform decent is because they all have relatively late closing inlet valves which result in a lower DCR.
