Yes it is 1000 cfm. They say it has supported up to 850 HP so far. That would be big enough for me. You can even put a blower on with it.

I Googled that one, and didn't find any installed pictures of it. From what I heard was just as many problems with tuning it. The beauty of the MassFlo system is it's adaptability to changes. Change a cam or bore it out, and a few calls and an updated computer and you;re in business.

It looks like most of the Edelbrock systems are for 450 HP or less. I want one that will go to at least 550 or better. I have heard also about some tuning problems with this system.

I seem to remember it being a hard system to adapt a charger. I would rather buy a system based on adaptability to forced induction and upgraded components.

Ya, I read that also. Sure would like to talk to someone running that setup. Thats the one I've had my eye on for my 406ci.

I think I mentioned this, but get on some of the mustang forums, and search for it. I think it's been a popular FI system with the Stang crowd.

About 12 some odd years ago I spotted an olde tyme Hillborn mechanical injection setup at Carlysle, not expensive, maybe 300 bux or so, and of course thought of modding the fixed plumbing for modern injectors, and keeping that cool stack through the hood look, but didn't have the ***** to pull it off, it would be cool though, except for weather sealing the hood to the stacks, then there is the air filter....

allways something....

I actually meant a pic of a setup like that in a Vette. I'm curious how it looks on the car.

Default Hilborn EFI

I've got a Hilborn type EFI system on my C3 run by a F.A.S.T System with all the bells & whistles. I love it and can tune it , change the programing ect. any time I want with a laptop. I'm running a 383 that engine dyno'd at 507 hp with a carb. and chassis dyno'd with the fuel injection at 463hp! So that told me I didnt have as much hp loss through the drivetrain as other types of systems. I've had 60-80 hp loss on other cars. My point is it is : a fairly pricy system but more hp to the ground and DAMN it just looks BAD ***!!!

I have to say I'm drooling for a pic or five of your engine, all angles, closeups, profiles, plumbing...everything.

As far as pictures go I'll have to wait until I can get some help in posting the pictures as I dont have a clue on how to do it.. I'll post them early Sat. Sorry for the delay. This is a short Hilborn Setup It wont quite fit under a stock hood, It needs only 1/4 inch on the front two tubes so i changed to a hood that was 1 1/2 in.taller.
