yes, 70LS1 has done it, lotsa work and the C5 calipers are floating, you need to have the hubs machined and all...(to use the C5 rotors). You're better off with a wilwood kit from Keith (corvettengineering)
Just finished the Wilwood install with parts from Corvette Engineering. No significant problems other than bleeding took quite a while.
Improvement in braking is significant.
I like your result description. I should go to the Wildwood site but I'm being lazy....what kit did you use on what? I need a winter project. Winters in Montana are LOOOONG.
I used Corvette Engineering's Talledega (front) and Blackhawk (rear) kits with Wilwood BP-10 pads. These are forged calipers with pads with high coefficient of friction at low temp (don't require warm up to perform well).
I also used Raybestos BruteStop drilled and slotted rotors from AutoParts America and RockAuto. Total cost for parts - about $1300.
I haven't done a panic stop to determine 60-0 performance but seat of the pants tells me it is considerably better than my OE setup which wasn't at all bad.
