2 questions on rear window conversion
Have all the parts for the removable rear window conversion but first i
am a little confused about the latch escutcheons.Are they hidden behind the roof panels
or are they to go over the top of the panels? Also i have found two different types of roof panels,
one has a larger opening for the latch while the other is a smaller stepped opening with a small screw
hole within the opening towards the front of the panel.My latches are the rectangular type with the
two screw holes.

If you have the early upper interior panels the latch support brackets go over the panels.
From what I understand the 70-72 panels did not use the metal support brackets.
All of the latches used two bolts to hold them to the body. Early latches used a little different style lever (they interchange).
