Check battery drain

Having a little bit of a senior moment and can't find any related articles on this. My battery has been draining down recently and I wanted to check which circuit is drainging if any or just a bad battery. Got out my milliamp checker but can't remember which cables on the battery to hook it up to. Then start pulling fuses. What if any is an acceptable milliamp drain?

Under 100. Put the meter on the Pos side of the battery between the cable and battery rerminal

First thing I'd do is have the alternator itself checked for a shorted diode. Many parts chains can do this if the alternator is brought in.

Maybe my meter has a blown fuse in it. I tried this and got no reading with the doors open. I'll check the fuse with the other meter.
No wonder I was getting no reading. The fuses in both meters are blown. Off to the parts store
