Default Electric headlights

Anybody ever convert 68 headlights to electrical? Is there a kit somewhere? Do later models have them, 80ish, could they be adapted?
Want to clean up motor compartment more....

All C-3's have the vacuum operated headlights. But there is a solution, McSpeed a.k.a 69MyWay has an electric headlight conversion kit using late model Camaro/Firebird motors. I am blocked here, but this should get you started: www.mcspeed.homestead.com

I know Chris, and his kit is the way to go IF you want operating headlights, I was going to adapt something like that to my car, while changing the pivot point of the headlight assy, so to use late Camaro lo profile square headlights, but in fact it was getting to be too heavy a mechanical nitemare, and hell with it....

I had a set of Eckler's sugar scoop trays in there for years, after a deer accident wiped out the headlights, so I reversed course, and decided to put the lo profile bulbs in fabbed up mounts into the Ecklers trays, and close in the large opening by about 50% front to rear....

see site, for results....lobbed damn near 100 lbs of trash off that front end too....

motor or no motor, electric or vacuum, those olde tyme operating headlights weigh a ton....entire assy gotta be about 50 lbs each....
