There is no way to replace the door panel carpet on a 1978-1982 car without tearing the door panel apart! The only way to replace these panels is to purchase a new set of panels.

I was going to try the same thing but they had door panels cheap enough for me to just buy the new ones. I want to say I paid like $225 for the set but I could be wrong. After I opened the box and looked at them I realized how bad my old panels looked so I am glad that I bought them.

Default DIN bezel

Just ordered up one of the DIN bezels for the wife 73. Thanks for the discount.
Bought a Truflex nose for the same car awhile back. Had quite a bit of work to make if fit but it's on now.

T-top pads are not on back order, we just forgot to turn the link back on for them. The forum sale link on 78-82 t-top pads is now active.

Ah, ok, can you have someone check on order number 2010 then. I had ordered them back on the 25th of February of this year along with some weather strip and at that time you were out.

I indicated I still wanted them, and I see that order number 2010 still shows them in my account. If that is the case can you go ahead and add that outstanding amount to the same card?

Let me know.

Thank you.

Jeremy,

The part that you ordered are the ABS t-top pad inserts for the t-top panels and not the t-top pads as original that are listed on the web site under the forum special section. The pads on the forum special section are the foam padded variety and nothing like the ABS inserts which were sold as a cheaper alternative.

The ABS inserts will not be in stock again due to fit and quality problems. We pulled this item from sales in the middle of February and did not turn off that link. It has been turned off to stop this problem from happening.

I did check your invoice 086277 and you were only charged for the weatherstrip kit, the glue and a shipping adjustment was made to reflect the item that did not ship.

Ok, I was not really clear on that..

Ok, so in other words it was just a ****ty product?

Ok, saw that on the CC bill, but not in my account online... Thanx again!

But the other ones you just mentioned ARE in stock and ARE better? Do they still mount with four screws, or do you have to use that velcro set up?

Thanks again!

The pads listed on the site are as they came from the factory. They use the brackets and the velcro. Bad part is they are priced as each too!

Eek... Why are those darned things so expensive.. You have the best prices of anyone btw, but man, those things are crazy expensive!

I take it the other ones are those ABS ones that everyone else is advertising? If that is the case, I think I will stay away from those..

Thanx again!!!

I'm at work and cant access Ebay. Are your vinyl seat covers for a '70 the same price on ebay and your website?

If the Ebay price is lower can I call and get that price on a set?

As I recall I ended up asking that same question and ended up just calling instead of eBaying.. Much easier, and it was the same price if I remember.

Mia,

The panels on clearance will come down this weekend. If you are interested in them.
