I'm looking at a corvette with a daytona body kit. I dont like it and would like to remove it. The guy said it has been fiberglassed in. How hard is it going to be to get the kit off? What special tools or whatever will be needed? Any idea of how much it will cost me to get it off?
if its molded in like he says, i have to back everyone else...buy another car man...there's a lot of bargain c3's around, and you can buy a chrome bumper daily driver for what you'll be paying for a whole new set of body panels and all the labor, and full repaint.

What he said! If you don't like it look around for something else! Some (me) like modified cars. Some (you) don't. Way to much work to go back. Mine is a 63 SWC and it's to much work to go back. Look at the value of both cars in original cond. Buy something else.
