Fuse Link Values
OK, I even did the search thing and still can't find the answer. Does anyone know what the Fuse Value is on the fuse links? If not that then the wire gauge, I found 3 numbers for that, 12, 14 and 16 gauge, LOL.
Anyone know for sure? I think what I am going to do is eliminate them in favor of a resetable circuir breaker, but I need a value. I am looking at 50 amps, that should be right if a bit high for all 3 of those gauges

OK, I did some research;
I got most of this from Madelectrical
This assumes 150% overcurrent protection
a 14 gauge link is used to protect a 10 gauge wired circuit rated at 55 amps (the link is rated at 32 amps x 150%) load = 48amps. This means it can be replaced with a 50 amp breaker safely.
a 16 gauge link is used to protect a 12 gauge wired circuit rated at 41 amps (the link is rated at 22 amps x 150%) load = 33amps, so a 40 amp breaker is more appropriate
