That being said, I have 245/60/15's up front & 255/60/15's on the rear.
and no tire's were sent back but sold for 1/2 of what I paid for them. To all my good friends who wouldn't give me a dime more for them. Thank You

Now can you fit bigger tires on a C3? Yes you can, will they rub sometimes they do. On orginal plan was 255's front & 275's rear. The tires looked TOO BIG on the car hit inside fenders and my L48 couldn't move all that rubber on the rear. It takes a lot of ponies to spin 275's

I've got 255/60 15's on rear and the park cable mounting bracket is pretty close to sidewall. I dont think it will clear a 275/60. I think you would have to relocate bracket in order to run that wide a tire.

each car is different....buy the small tires first and trial mount them front and rear check clearances and go from there...

I have 255/60/15s all around o my 77. They fit good but do rub in front when steering turned all the way. Park brake cable will have to relocated for 275s on rear.Does anyone have a picture of 245/60/15 frnt and 255/60/15 rear I'm thinking of changing front tires?

I've got 255/60/15s all around as well and I rub also when turned all the way or hit a dip in a turn. I'll be switching the front sometime soon.
