My dad has patented these, and has been manufacturing them for about 20 years. I run them in everything I drive, including my Vette... They've saved my butt on several occasions, so I think of them as *very* cheap insurance...
Of course, this is more than just the temp gauge, but I like to have the highest-accuracy instruments possible...

I don't think previous posts about the temperature sensor have really been targeted at it's accuracy, but rather the fact that the reading on the standard C3 temp gauge was ambiguous. We've had posts about people calibraing their temp sensor by placing it in boiling water, etc. Maybe your needs wil be satisfied by knowing were the needle will be on the temperature gauge when you're at 212 degrees F?
