How dose my '75 cowl induction work? I looked in the cowl and there is a flap that is closed.
How and when dose the flap open? How do I know it works? :flag
You should have a set of wires running from the enclosure in the hood to a switch on the backside of the gas pedal inside the car. When you push the pedal to a certain point the switch will open the door. This switch also controls the downshift on your transmission. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/zerothread?id=142930
Also look for a switch with brown wires down by the gas pedal, this opens the door at full throttle. If you can live with the noise, unbolt the cover and remove the door for full time cowl induction.
