Default Installing New Trans, Question about E-Brake

I'm having a T56 rebuilt right now and I've ordered the adapter plate and input shaft from Fortes Parts. I'm trying to get everything laid out before the installation, one question is I'm assuming I will replace the cross member, probably have to build one. The emergency brake pulley is currently mounted to the cross member and if the cross member can't be reused what are the options for the ebrake setup. Maybe cutting off the ebrake system and reinstalling on new crossmember, only problem I see there is the new crossmember won't be as bulky as the original so it the pulley wouldn't be in the orignal location. Any advice or Any suggestions?

You need to fabricate new tabs to mount that little pulley on. They need to be in a very particular location since there is very little space between the drive shaft and the floor pans in the location where the pulley goes. Not a big deal though, just a little bit of test and grind and test and grind.
