Does anyone have an air/fuel ratio guage installed on their car? If so, was it a hassle to install and do you feel it is beneficial? I was looking at the K&N setup for $170 (all inclusive).

Re: Air/Fuel Ratio (nastee383)
I have purchased one from Summit, for $29.95 w/o sensor.
I can get the sensor from any local parts store for about $20-$30. And then I will have the local muffler shop weld in the sensor bung -- $20.
Summit also had a couple of AutoMeter guages for about $50 w/o sensor.
I don't plan on mounting mine perm. I will only need it to tune the new motor and when I am doing drag racing. I will just temporarily mount it to the windshield via suction cups or use the wiper blade to hold it down.
Hi Nastee, I have a Autometer 20 segment LED 2 1/16" guage in my '76. It's great! I have bungs welded in each collector, and it updates very quickly with a heated sensor. I previously had a wide band setup (over $1000) and decided the narrow band (? regular style) is accurate enough for a carb'd car. The limitation in tuning is the carb.
