Default floor body panels needed

My 1969 Vette floors on the drivers and passenger floor need replaced. It doesn't need the complete floor but I can tell that where the floor goes up under the drivers pedals have been fiberglass repaired and are now coming apart.

Does anyone know who sells a partial floor panel for the drivers and passenger side (kick up) ?

If not, has anyone fabricated this and what material could I buy like some kind of plastic panel or metal sheet and then rivet it in and fiberglass over that ?

Thanks for any help.

The entire underbody and toe kick are fiberglass. You might be able to find replacement panels from a Corvette salvage yard. You might also be able to repair what you have using regular fiberglass repair/lay up techniques.

If there are existing metal patches on your car, Bubba has been there.

I would just "Do It Right", and repair the area. If you use the right materials/techniques, it will be as good or better than original.

You can probably buy another body for under $100 that would have a good floor. Or just 'glass what you have.

Thanks everyone. I looked it over again and it's not that bad and I just bought some fiberglass mat and resin so I should be able to repair the panels. I just got excited because when I pushed on the floor under the pedals it has a lot of give. I'm also a new corvette owner so I'm learning as I go with this fun car.

Thanks.

What you have on your 'Vette is very common on '68 to 72 'Vettes....(all 3 of mine had broken floors). No worries. Use 3 layers of mat on both sides. Get the original 'glass real clean and rough it up good prior to repairs.
