Converting alum diff to iron diff..
Has anyone converted their '80-'82 to the older style ('63-'79) differentials? I understand (from reading various posts) that the older "iron" style can be beefed up easier...

If you don't have any parts at all and I supply everything, your at about 3K. If you have your own cast iron diff, and some other odds & ends it will be cheaper.

With all the threads here and as fast as they can go from one page to the next, I would have missed it too. Sometimes it's hard to keep up w/threads unless they turn out to be 6 pages long.
