How hard is this to fix.....

I was thinking of buying this project vette in the for sale section of the forum. It has rust that the seller says is easy to fix and he has pics. I need opinions on how "easy" this is to fix and if it is worth it. Thanks AGAIN for answering my question

If the only rust is that shown in the pictures and you have metal working and welding skills, its an easy fix. However, I would want to see the frame and bird cage one this one.

I'll bet all the body mount brackets are rusted as well.

Looks the bird cage is going to be rusted out.....I'd wanna look at it in person before i bought it, and i wouldnt spend 5k on that basketcase...

I think it's a fair price for a big block, chrome bumpered car. I'd buy it if I didn't already purchase my '72. You could even drive it since it's not numbers matching!
