Jusy got my 69 blasted PICS
I had to rebuld the seams and re-glass the all of the inner fenders.
I took it to him a month and a half ago. I wanted him to blast 3 layers of paint and shoot some epoxy sealer so I can finish the mechanicals and body without having to worry about raw fiberglass getting greasy or damaged. Now all I have is 100 hours of minor bodywork and blocking!
What do you guys think?
I put a pic of the t tops after blasting without paint.
I think he did pretty good! I had him use red sealer as will be the finish color.
I know I'm sick. This is Corvette #3. Talking to a contractor about putting a 3 car garage in the back yard.
I tried using a soda blaster on my Vette and didn’t like the results. I stopped blasting the fiberglass parts after doing both doors. A LOT of priming and block sanding was required to smooth them out.
Enjoy your project and keep the pictures coming!
