Just a few tweaks
I am going to put a few tweaks on a 1978 L-82 Turbo-400 vette with about 70 K miles on the clock.
In Cali it still must go thru smog testing however I would like a bit more punch but don't have alot of money, about 500.00 to throw at it.
1. New Camshaft, lifters and timing chain, from idle to 5000ish
2. Recurve the distributor
3. Tweak the Quadrajet
Will the car pass smog with a modest cam and tweaks to the dist and carb?
What kind of performance can I expect out of these modest tweaks?
