I heard a few storage tips in the last year and want to know others opinion. Tire pressure if not on jacks. 45lbs. Foam or a couple layers
of carpet under tires. Additive to gas . Loosing T-Tops and let them
just rest in position. I have never seen any advantage of disconnecting
the battery as I like to started it once a month. If you have aux. alarm
system, I have noticed it will drain the battery.
I don't do much special except start the engine and let warm up to operating temps once a month. I have a battery disconnect on my 79 and use it whether or not mine is in storage since I've never figured out the slight battery drain problem I've always had. I live out in the country so I also put a box of D-Con in the cabin and on top of the engine.
