hi
my assembly manual indicates a type 82a grease based sealer at the joint between the front and rear exhaust pipes, where they connect just forward of the trans cross member. it seems as though a grease sealer would burn out of this joint.
does anybody know what this stuff is?
thanks
jeff
I'm not familliar with the grease you mentioned but it might be Moly they're referring to. It very high temp stuff, also called antiseize compound used on threads. It will not burn off when applied to exhaust pipe joints. Molybdenum Disulphide.
