ZZ4, Hooker Headers, Q-Jet, High torque starter, Centerforce, New Super T-10 (Not a mod, but it needed it.) Hurst shifter, Re-built rear end and suspension with FRP spring.
Almost forgot... First mod was to pull out the POS Radio Shack radio.
IMHO the interior & exterior of a C-3 is perfect just the way Zora envisioned. BUT...it's gotta go FASTER. All my mods have been under the hood. New 406 soon to be installed.

I'm doing to mine, what I would have done in the 70's had I been able to afford it.....Makin' it an in your face, loud, fast, obnoxious street toy.
Why? Because it's never too late to have a happy childhood
350 H.O., more power.
700R4, lower cruising rpms and lower 1st gear.
Pioneer CD player, obvious reasons.
Edelbrock 1406, simplicity and reliability.
Truflex front and rear bumpers, cause my old ones were shot.
Almost forgot, Hooker side pipes cause what's a Corvette without side pipes.
From: Who says "Nothing is impossible" ? I've been doing nothing for years.
Put a TKO 600 5 speed overdrive tranny in because my 406ci kept breaking Super T 10's. Why ? Because there is nothing like the feeling you get when a C6 pulls over to let you by on the highway
From: Arlington Va Current ride 04 vert, previous vettes: 69 vert, 77 resto mod
700r4 for the first gear and O/D
350 HP 4 bolt main for power
Steeroids to make it steer
Poly bushings for handling
channel trailing arms for strength
and everything else that was stock got replaced/rebuilt

Mine started out with a low compression 400 motor and I was thinking of putting a procharger on it. 15 years earlier I picked up a big block motor that has been sitting in the shop looking for a home and one day I took the numbers off the block and it turned out being a 454 out of a 72 vette so I decided that it had to go in my car. It was still stock inside and in very good shape so I freshened it up and used it for several years. The forced induction idea just wouldnt go away and since the 454 was also a low compression motor, it would work good for some kind of a blower setup. I always loved reading about gale banks twin turbo big blocks in the mags and decided thats what I wanted to do with mine. I figgured that with turbos, the car would still be real streetable with low compression, mild cam and so forth but would turn into an animal when you wanted it to. Now having gotten the motor pretty much worked out, the next step I want to do is a C-4 suspension conversion. And I guess I am doing things backwards but I am taking the 4 speed out and replacing it with a 4L80-e trans when I do the suspension. Will have 335/35/18's on the rear and probably 275/35/18's on the front. O yeah and a vintage air system, (seems I waited long enough for them to make a direct fit kit now), power windows, electric door poppers and when I get all the bugs out of everything, a nice paint job. Then I want to drive it everywhere I can and enjoy it!
