I'm trying to set up my trans linkage, and find that the shift clevisis (bracket that shifter linkage connects to on trans) are miss-matched. The AIM, vedor catalogs, and service manual pics are no help. A close up of original ST-10 shift linkage (at the trans) would realy help.
Thanks guys...

Zip products.
Try the Zip vendor website. I found pix for what they call "shift levers" of 4 different year groups. Try 68-82 parts > 68-82 shfter & transmision > 68-82 shifter > 68-81 4speed-trans shifter.
Bottom line of my project is that I have a '72 shifter, and a '77 ST-10. I'm trying to set it all up properly before dropping it back in along with my 406. Previous "BUBBA" had it jerry rigged with mix & match linkage & levers. I'll probably have to play with an assortment too see what works best...
Thanks for the replies guys

I saw your 406" mock-up and i really expect u will need a "Muncie" for that much pwr Eddie. Though i run a Borg Warner trans from what others are posting a BW won't handle even a 383" strokers torque. Just my 2 cents and hope it helps you in long run keep driveline parts together.
