I have them in my car with the Performance Plus Kit.

They are tough and give the car a nice handling.
I´m not able to determine why the handling did improve so much, cause I replaced the front suspension in total:
Upper A-Arms / Lower A-Arms / Springs vs. Fiberglas monospring front / Swaybar 1 1/4" / Koni Gas shocks.
The arms are OK and are tough lookers - but attention on mine the Bolts to the crossshaft became loose and the A- Arm moved relatively to the crossshaft. Can be dangerous! Should be looked after frequently!
This is my opinion.
If you like, I can post some pics. :chevy

454Big.

Are you talking about the bolts from the halfshaft to the flange on the bearing spindle? I though they had french locks on them to keep them from backing out.

I set my alignment to Vette Brakes advanced street (or whatever) settings with my stock upper a-arms. The stack of shims required makes my car look like the frame was bent in a wreck (to get the recommended castor)! For appearances' sake I probably should get those Vette Brake pieces.
If those bolts that came loose are the ones I am thinking about, shouldn't they have locking nuts?
