sbc OHC ???

Anybody ever done an overhead cam set up for the sbc or bbc ??

Should make it chat along quite well...........

Not quite OHC BUT it gives you the same effects by giving you twice as many valves.

There's the good ol' LT5...designed by Lotus, built by Mercruiser. The LSx engines give as good or better performance from a traditional pushrod design, though.

Well the LT5 did the same power with less cubes (5.7L vs. 6L). However, it's not like it's hard to get a 5.7L SBC Gen I, II, or III to 400hp, either.

The new northstar 4.6L VVT motor will probably fit in the car. If 320hp is enough for you. Cams are going to be difficult though.

I loved those till i saw the price for a BBC. 20k ouch.

I saw a set of heads similar to those on ebay once for an LT1 and they were going for quite a pretty penny, too.

Suprised no one else has picked up on the design and used it.

Everything has been done to the SBC. Yes, there was an OHC kit for it back in the early 70s. There have also been canted (not SB2) heads, three valve, and hemi heads. You should be able to turn something up through Google.
