C3 wheel size
I have almost completed the frame on this 79 project. My next question is wheel and tire size. The orig wheel and tire combo measure out at about 27 inches. But I see there is some room to spare. What wheel or wheel/tire size is everyone running? Does anyone know what the max size is before problems occur? Also if you can post pics so everyone can see how great your wheels look that would be great.

those are great looking. Either of you have to use offset trailing arms? On those 20", what is the overall size from ground to top to tire. Im amazed that you have no rubbing on turns, thats awesome.
Anyone else have custom wheels on their C3? Im looking at going for a set of crome spoke wheels but I always love to see custom wheels on vets, they just look awesome.

there was a loooong thread ago that basically had everyones vette on it from stock to custom...
standard t-arms.... the overall diameter is about 1/4"-1/2" larger with the 20"setup.....
groovyjay has TTII's that are 20's........ i think his is a 79...maybe 80.... it's a nice car...
