Just put in a new 383, Full roller, forged, aluminum heads,825 mighty Demon with mech sec, airgap manifold. Has 3:70 rear end. Comp Cam XR288HR Duration @ 0.050"236/242, LS-110. Current stall 2800. Has slow acceleration up untill 3000rpm,When I put it in gear, engine almost stalls and increase vibration. Torque curve starts climbing at 2800 http://www.compcams.com/Technical/Dy...8HR-10_001.asp

I would think a true 2800 stall would be enough to keep it from stalling when going in gear. THats plenty loose enough for driveability. ALTHOUGH with that size cam and motor characteristics, it probably really wants a 3200-3600 converter. IF you go with a good brand and have one built for your motor, they can give you enough stall speed but still keep it relatively tight when cruising at light throttle. Art Carr, Coan, Continental, Vigilante, Yank are all good companies. Stay away from TCI, B&M and local speed shop/Summit-Jegs converters. They are all junk

You need something that is going to flash to around 4k. I think a decent 10" converter would do the trick.

I have about the same setup as you.

I have a 3400 Vigalanti lockup stall and it works fine. 2800 was too small for mine too and would shut mine down

My combo is somewhat similar to yours, but with a 4.11 gear (see signature); I have an Art Carr Super Torque 10" converter rated at 2900 stall, but flashes to 4100 rpm. Works perfect for my combo and is very efficient. Art Carr customs each converter, so if you call him, give your info of cam duration, HP, peak torque, vehicle weight, gear ratio, and driving use (street-strip, race, street only, etc.)
