Default Bubba's Alternator Bracket

Bubba got real creative with my alternator bracket . . . stripped bolt holes in head, wrong thread bolts, braces mounted on steering box, etc. I have removed all that junk, repaired the head bolt holes and am now ready to purchase the correct alternator bracket. By correct, I don't necessarily mean original, but one that looks nice and that will do the job correctly.

I'm looking for something under $100 and have narrowed my search to this one: Summit SUM-420101 Is this the correct one? What will work?

BTW, I have a stock L-48 with headers and alum intake.

Sorry, the Zip paste didn't work. Go to Zip and key word alternator bracket and, of course, year.

Nothing wrong with original. I've debated original vs after-market. At first I thought it was ridiculous to spend $80 or more for a bracket, especially since I only need the upper bracket. But . . . I'm thinking down the road to the day (year) when I finally can build my 383 stroker and what I would want on that motor. So I decided to spend a little more now and get what I would want to end up with later.

Thanks for the input!!!

You're welcome. I looked at your profile and saw you had a stock 350 so that's why I was wondering about the original. BTW, if you do decide to go the original route, you could probably pick one up much cheaper at one of the larger Vette flea markets.

I just recently purchased a March Performance Bracket for my 75 Vert.
I got it at Summit Racing. Fits perfectly and looks sharp.....

If you decide to stay stock PM me and I'll give you one off of a 77. It might take me a couple of days to get it for you as I would have to catch a buddy over to remove it. I just had corpal tunnel surgery so I only have a left hand that operates at the moment
