i have the XE series by comp and i like it....i would think they are very similar in almost all respects....just make sure before you swap it that you have done your homework on breaking it in....or the cursed wiped lobe will haunt you

it has a definite lope to it...not too much that you think the car is going to stall but enough to make sure everyone knows its not stock....
the car has a definite vibration/shaking at idle not really a violent shaking but enough that you notice it
enough that the 19 yr old and 14 yr sons think its really cool
vacuum is ok although i did put in a vacuum advance cannister that operates full advance with low vacuum
Voodoo series cams are designed by Harold Brookshire, the cam designer who ran Ultradyne cams before he went to work at Lunati. Harold also designed the "High Energy" series of Cams for Comp Cams back in the 70's but, has no relation to any current Comp Cams designs that I know of. Many NASCAR cars in the 80's sported Comp stickers but ran Ultradyne cams in their motors. Harold is one of the best (PHD degree in math, artist degree in cam design), I run a Ultradyne in my 440HP 355 cu/in "warmed over" LT-1 Vette.
I'll soon find out. I am going to use the 60103 VooDoo 268 in my 406 I having built. Some guys on here say its a little on the small side, but Harold on a few other web-sites has spoken well of it. I will be using 1.5 rockers on the exhaust and 1.6 on the intake. I willbe running 110 LSA for vaccum purposes, Garold drove a vette that was using 108 and it was marginal. With my 406 9.8 CR 110 will work fine.
