Interior light doesnt come on...
The interior light does not come on when the DRIVER door is opened. The light works if you open the passenger door, and the hood (which I didnt even know it would do for a few minutes).
Could it just be the button in the door jam? How to test/fix? This is a '78.

Yes;. That is a plunger style switch and it is supposed to complete the open circuit to ground. Try gently tugging and wiggling on the switch to see if you can get it to complete the circuit. You can also remove the switch and jump the wires (bypass the switch). The switches get old and corroded, the springs inside of them do too.
