Where does the upper rad hose go?
Okay, here's the scoop.
1973 SBC 400 bored +.020 to 405 (Complete roller retrofit.)
1989 SBC heads - 14102193
1994 Impala LT1 intake manifold
Where, since there is no t-stat housing...does the upper rad hose connect?
Thanks.

I believe this is what you want to read...
if you read the website, I believe he later started doing the water outlet at the aft end so as to not interfere with the forward-end stuff.
Take a look and see if it helps.

The remote t-stat housing is a Weiand unit for use with superchargers. It's available from Summit, Jegs and eBay.

Wow they're pricey, I have one bookmarked but I didn't think they'd cost $80.

If you're patient, used Weiands come up on eBay in the $35-$60 range relatively often. I found mine for $35 after shipping.

My next stop is the for sale section. I'll search it, and then post a WTB for one.
Now that I know what to get, where will I want to mount it? Can I fab a bracket, and mount it right on front of the engine similar to where it already was...just on a bracket in front of the motor?

I think it's just one of those "mount it where you can get it to fit" things. The LT1 intake page might have some photos with good ideas.

I want to try to mount mine in the front between the accessories...on a custom bracket of some kind.
