New C-3 owner here (as of 9-2-01). I've been "lurking" here at the forum for a couple of weeks and thought I'd introduce myself. I'm Bill, I live in mid-Michigan for the time being. Although it looks as though I'll be relocating to Orlando before the end of the year (can you saw "year round driver"). I just purchased a 73 L-48 Coupe (same year I was born ). It's in pretty good shape. A recent engine rebuild, slightly modified. The car was originally Elkhart Green but repainted in black laquer quite some time ago. There is definitly a paint booth in my near future. Don't know if I'll be much help to anyone but I will have lots of questions. BTW, special thanks to Tom for the 73 site. It has already proven a big help.
Welcome aboard...BTW I'm up the other side of Flint. Surely the best thing you have done for yourself and your 'Vette is join this Forum. Heed the words read here as these folks know their stuff. The BS will surely sort itself out from the truth........ :yesnod: :flag
Glad you're here. I'm from Ann Arbor, but now settled in Oregon. Still a Michigander at heart. If you're ever near Cooper St. and I-94 in Jackson wave to my Dad up at Ray Printing Co. Good luck with your 'Vette.
Re: Alert...It's another new guy! (pats406nitrovette)
Bill, Welcome to the forum. I'm originally from Lansing before moving to Rochester, NY. I come back to Lansing every couple of months to visit my parents, brother and if time allows a trip to Holt Auto Sales to check out his supply of vettes and street rods. Welcome again, Rod
Thanks for the welcome fellas. I may have a question or two for you guys tomorrow. I'm installing Ignitor II and checking my timing. I did some searching and found several great posts by Lars. He seems to really know his stuff. We'll see how it goes.
Welcome, lots of great info on this forum. I wish that I could drive my car year round, but I will stick it out in Michigan another year. I live in Armada which is close to Port Huron. I get to your neck of the woods a couple of times a year.
