I'm thinking of putting on the top after about 15 years! I don't recall what hardware is needed; the 3 front latch points and 2 side bolts? I didn't have anything else but thought there was some type of rubber spacer between the top and deck? If so, is it something I can makeup easy?
Thanks
Gary
The rear pins are not the latch kind like the soft top. The are just studs that pass thru from the top. Then there is a plate that goes under the latch and a nut. This is real difficult if you still have the soft top in the car folded down (ask me how I know  ).
I installed the same pins in the rear as the soft top so I didn't have to mess with the bolt and nut deal, just snap it down into place. My decklid isn't drilled for the side bolts so I haven't bothered to use them yet.
Thanks guys I remember using a piece of threaded rod and fender washers through the deck to hold it on. I used to remove the conv top too. I really would like ot make it a vinyl top too but have never installed vinyl.

As for the side bolts, your deck lid should have threaded inserts in the deck lid hole held in place with a nut on the back side. Then all you have to do is secure the bolt from the inside. If your lid doesn't have this insert, look in all of the catalogs at the hardtop hardware and it'll make since. The soft top studs are a great idea for the rear deck lid bolts. My hard top also has a third stud in the middle and a matching smaller hole in the deck lid. My understanding is that that is one way to tell if your car came with both tops (if the third hole in the deck lid is present).
Thanks guys I mounted the top Sunday. The bolts lined up but I found the nylon bushings missing on the header panels. My deck doesn't have the center mounting hole in it.
