2 in a row this morning can you tell I'm getting ready to drive my new project ! When the previous owner restored the frame he re placed the rear trailing arms with the offset ones. Currently running the late 70s alloy rims but want to buy rallys can i use 10" rims do i need to know a specific offset or are they standard for rallys and any idea what size width of tire i can use on the back to fill that gap by the trailing arm that i have now. If it matters its a 68.thanks for looking . Will be back later have to go and pick it up from the alignment shop .Paid 150.00 :chevy

6" backset max. better with 5 1/2"; tire size is up to you.

If you increase the backspace from stock (4") then increase the wheel width accordingly. so if you go to 5-1/2" offset, then get a 9-1/2 or 10" wide wheel to fill your wheel well.
