Fan shrouds....radiator....
Does the exact shape of the fan shroud affect airflow?? meaning in does it have to be bell/conical/concave in shape?? or is a flat plate with fan being say 3" to rear of rad core enough, long as it's sealed around edges, of course....close/sealed to rad core....

The shape has to have some beneficial effect, efficiency more than anyting else. That said, most of the companies selling electric rigs use a flat pan style shroud sealed to the edges of the radiator. So it will work either way, the flat ones provide a cleaner look and some space savings, the stock stye (like my 81) may be a bit more effecient.
