74 big block coupe, 255/60/15 BFG T/A's all around on 15x8 AR TT II's, look awesome, only occasional very mild rubbing (not sure where but I hear it once in a while). I can live with it.
75 coupe 265/55 BFG all the way around on the 76 and later style aluminum rims, no rubbing, nothing tied, looking to stay same on replacement if I can find size otherwise 255 all around

1968 wheel width increased to 7" wide - the only year of the 7" wheel.
1968-1972 All Tires were F70x15, blackwall, whitewall, or white letter.
1969 wheel width increased to 8"
1973 Radial Tires introduced - GR70x15 became standard size until '78.
1976 Aluminum wheels introduced as an option.
1978 The first year "60 series" tires were made available as an option.
1978 All tire sizes became metric. 2 different sizes were available.
Standard was P225/70R15 and Optional was P255/60R15.
After production, '78 and '79 fenders had to be trimmed at the assembly plant on all cars equipped with "60 Series" tires for clearance.
1980-82 models still offered both sizes. 70's standard, 60's Optional.
With front end redesign on the 1980, the P255/60R15's fit with no fender trimming.
