Hey guys,
I need some pics from anyone who is running Torque thrust D rims to help me make my decision between Torque thrust D and Torque thrust II
rims. (they will be 8 x15 255/60R15 in the rear and 8 x 15 225/70R15 in the front). Thanks!
Oh yea!
Thanks!
What's the deal on the look a likes? They pass as real TTs! Was it a price issue and who makes these?
I don't think that anybody still makes them. I got mine used on Ebay and refurbished them myself (polished the rim and re-painted the center with special wheel coating paint). Paid like $300 for the set!

They have a "Visualization" tool that used to show C3's. I just tried it out today and for some reason it only goes back to the 1999 model year. Must be a glitch of some kind. In the past I was able to view my color of '72 C3 with whatever wheels/sizes they offered.
Check out the TTO - Torque Thrust Original. Suh-weet!
ARE Torq Thrust D's do not clear the C3 brake caliper. You need to use a spacer which in most circles is bad news.
ARE Torq Thrust IIs clear the brake caliper. Hence the huge bias towards these rims.
ARE TTD's DO clear the C-2 & C-3 calipers......... I got 'em on the '67 (15x7).
However, I prefer TTII's on the C-3 for appearance (and size choices) sake. And if you go with 17 inch wheels, IMO you don't need rack & pinion steering. It improves C-3 handling that much.
