We just did mine and I got a ton of brake now. However when I put on the brakes with my hands off the wheel it pulls to the right.I don't feel it with my hands on the wheel so it's not bad.My question is do I need to do the whole thing over again or just one side?To me it feels like the front right. This is on my 82.Thanks.I did replace all calipers/lines ect.

Wait a few days. If there is any air left in the system, you want to let it settle into a pocket for the next removal process.
Also, if the pads and rotors are new you may have to wait for the them to seat themselves.
Have you looked over all your metal and ribber lines to make sure nothing is pinched or collapsed?
1st check to make sure that the pads didnt get contaminated with any grease from your hands. You may just need to clean the pads with a brake cleaner and reinstall. 2ndly, check to see if the caliper is binding or not working properly. My riend has the same problem and he needed to return the reman caliper for another set. 3rd, make sure the brake hose is routed correctly and not binding, any kink in the hose will cause your same problem.
good luck.........
Thanks guys.I'll give it some more time. It's diffentley 98% better.I had a right rear with a stripped inside bleeder so I had almost no brakes, this is quite a bit better. We had the car up leval on jackstands and bleed them several times then my 11 year old grandaughter did the lug nuts with the 4 way and after I went back and retighted them I showed her how to put on the center caps. She love it!!

I wish I could get my girlfriend to help me in the garage. I want to get her involved in the rebuilding of my Vette.
Keep at the brakes. They're tricky, but you'll get it licked.

My wife actually got to LIKE helping rebuild our '80. She likes to wrench while I hold parts. I bought her a nice pair of mechanic's gloves to keep her hands clean and to help her get a better grip on wrenches. It helps to give her credit in conversations about the car too.

She'll be happy to help when I get all the hard messy stuff done. I'm thinking I'll get her involved when I do the interior. I have to wrap all the panels in leather and suede.
I agree about the steering wheel. That's the key. If the wheel turns it's the brakes. If the wheel does not, it's alignment and suspension.

Is your steering wheel turning to the right, or does the vehicle pull to the right? If the steering does not turn, you have a looseness in your lower or upper control arm. If it does turn to the right, your left caliper needs to be bled again.
