You can modify the windage tray to clear the crank for strokers. Summitt has pans with windage trays that you install to give you the clearance you need.

Ive ordered a Moroso pan, my main consern with many of the oilpans was one of clearance to the road and my powersteering, it seems Moroso have just the right pan for me.
Was very helpfull that they had all the mesurements shown.
Moroso carries a Stroker Pan, believe part# is 20195. www.moroso.com
This is the pan I have on my 427 sb ,good for up to 4.125 stroke ,
The thing I don't like is the pan doesnt have all the bolt holes, and the dip stick is in the pan and you can't use the stock location.I'd try the Milidon pan before the Moroso just because it looks like it has all the holes.
From: Who says "Nothing is impossible" ? I've been doing nothing for years.
It doesn't have all the bolt holes because of the notches in it on the pan rails for bigger stroke cranks ?
I don't mind that you can't use the stock dipstick. Just plug the hole, you would have to recalculate where the "full" line was anyway with that stock dipstick, with this pan no recalibration is needed. Kinda thinking out loud here, not sure if this right maybe you could let me know as I want ot get one of the pans
Actually i just love that the stupid oilpin is moved, atm i have to pull it from the block whenever i pull the engine or have to remove the headers, the new oilpin comes with the oilpan.
Regarding the missing boltholes i guess if the rails are thicker/stronger and i use silicone on the gasket anyway it should hopefully not leak.
But thank you for letting me know i dint know about it
Just got through talking to jegs rep and I'm sending my hamburger #1088 pan back. The particular pan I recieved is poorly made not allowing enough "surface" to seal the gasket in the rear around the seal. The 2 rear bolts didn't line up as well so I did as the tech suggested and "opened" them up a bit to allow more clamping force and reduce fasten friction against the pan. I have them as tight as I care to get them and it's still leaking. This is definately not a gasket problem as it's the 2nd set I put on. I'm going with a Milodon pan instead, but I don't think it has stroker provisions or the perks the hamburger did. I'll be happy if my new engine doesn't drip oil. Just a heads up on the 'Burger pan, my personal experience only and I don't know if others have had the same here.
I have started to build an 383 engine and i see that my orginal oil pan does not fitt any more. And now have seen in this discussion that someone use Moroso Stroker Pan part 20195.But is it no chance that it take on the power steering cylinder? When i bought the car was it an Camaro engine(350 engine)in the car and then have the oil pan lain on the power steering cylinder.
The engine i will builed is 383 engine and i use the Eagel stroker kit.
I'm planning to use the following Hamburger pan for my SBC stroker: http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku
According to Summit it will keep the original 7" corvette pan dept and it is ready for up to a 4" stroke.
What do you think of this? Have any of you experience with this pan?
