Here are a few pics. The throttle body will get a new plate with an etched '77 flag, and it's freshly bored to 52mm, and a newly installed air foil.
The injectors are used, with a lot of miles. I would like to clean them, or refurbish them in some way, instead of buying all new ones. They are 24# injectors.
Check out the cleaning service from Rich at http://www.cruzinperformance.com/fuelinj.html
He has done a couple sets for me and flows them with great documentation on your injectors. Price is right and then you have one less thing to worry about with a piece together system like this.
I have a modified TPI system on a 406 and some F.I. LT1 experience so will watch your progress---good luck---Jack

Thanks for that link. $14 per injector is a good price if you have some high dollar used injectors...but I think I've seen auctions for a full set of brand new injectors for under $100. I'm gonna keep that link, but I think I could get new ones cheaper.
HatchetJack - Thanks so much for the encouragement. It's great to know I have experienced support on my project, and I have lots of questions. Do a search for LT1 and you'll see my last few related threads. I would like you to look over them, and see if you have any input.
I'm really needing details about the fuel system. I need to know the best way to route the fuel lines from the passenger rail to the driver's side fuel rails.
Do you have the stock fuel rails? I know there was alot of discussion on thirdgen.org about this conversion a few years back. John McMillen did alot of work on it. There is a site listed on thirdgen that sells the modified manifolds--also information on converting one by the DIY guys.
I recommend going with a MAF controled system--probably will run on a stock 89 camaro 350TPI computer and chip (tune with fuel pressure and timming---custom chip in future). You use a distributer with this as I don't believe the Opti spark can be converted to the old block. Keep the lobe seperation wider than 112 degrees on the cam--computer controled motors like that! Thanks for the tips Jack. I am actually using a MAF system. It's the stock Impala harness and computer, being modified to fit my car and engine. I'll be using small cap HEI, and the site that will be modding my intake is LT1intake.com. I'll also be using an LT4 Hot Cam...and I think that'll fit the bill nicely.
