I got my A/F ratio meter today on the brown truck. I finished the panel. Now I need to get my O2 sensor bung welded into my exhaust. I went with 2 5/8" Autometer Pro Comps because I'm getting old and going blind. I like the larger gauges. I used pexiglass because aluminum was not cooperating. I painted both sides black, and attached to a stock console with stainless allen screws. I painted the black radio bezel silver to go with the gauge bezels. After 27 years of cassette decks, I finally have a CD deck. Sounds real good too. I'm tempted to cover the black panel with faux carbon fiber. What do you all think.

Looks good. It's too bad they don't make a gauge housing and all set up for the autometer gauges. I have one in my '69 Camaro that goes where the stock gauges go in the console, but it's for the autometers. Fits and looks great.

I've got the pattern I used for the panel on computer. It is an exact 1:1 pattern for the shape, hole centerpoints and DIN radio cutout. You just print it out, cut it out, and trace onto the pexiglass, aluminum, or stainless. I can send it via email if anyone is interested. It would work for any 2 5/8" gauges. I put my stock gauge panel with gauges in a box, and gutted another I found here on the forum. Hydra boost is my next project.

Bee Jay,
It looks great. I have been thinking of the same thing. Would you please send me your drawing at grulich69 @ comcast.net?
Nice job. Could you email a drawing to blair.richard@comcast.net ? I'm going to have to replace most of my guages when I get the LS1 installed and it would be nice to have a custom panel for the new ones.
Paid members? How much do you pay. What do you get if you pay? I've never been asked to pay.
If you donate money, you get more privileges, and I think that attachment option gets added. You know, you've seen the guys with the silver and gold star member icons above their avatar.
