Default Dual Quads / Air Gap

Since I have been a good boy this year I think I'm going to buy myself a christmas present, edelbrock vortec air gap dual quad w/endurashine setup. I can get this for 1100.00 shipped.

I would think this would be the best performing dual quad setup offered now? What do you guys think?

$1100.00 are you sure you were that good this yr. It should be
a lot better then the low rise version edelbrock has made for yrs.
go for it, will look good under the hood.

It depends on what your definition of best performing is. I know of some dual quad tunnel rams that will out flow it .

They come with 500cfm carbs now ? When I was looking they only came with 400's or 450's can't remember. I like the look, there was somethng I didn't like about this kit though maybe it was the carbs, they were 1405's if I remeber correctly Looks really though

really youd be better off with a big demon, the dual quads look cool but unless your planning on going like 160+ you dont really need them. however its is your money and your choice, whatever you do have fun with it, just my $.02

Yeah, I considered that myself, since I already have a new 750 Speed Demon that has never been installed. I actually have been wanting a Ecklers L88 hood for some time now, so I called a pretty good friend of mine who owns a local vette shop and he said he would order me one at his cost. That's a big savings so it looks like I'll be sporting a new L88 hood instead. Thanks for the replys guys!

Without a doubt they are! I like the demon sixshooter setup also but they are wayyyyy costly! The quad setup still isn't out of the question for me, maybe later....

Go for it....how many single four barrel, round open element air cleaner set-ups does a person have to see in a lifetime?

Even if it isn't the best performing, it looks good enough to give up a few ponies.

Well, I went ahead and did it! Bought the dual quads and L88 hood. I haven't fit either one yet but here's a few pics of the quads. I just hope this set up fits under the hood. Pics don't look too good, must be the reflectivity or my camera.
